Additional Info: Pen kalamkari is a traditional hand-painting practiced in the machhilipatnam cluster of Andhra Pradesh. hand-painted kalamkari is a very old n unique technic, in this process, the artisans use a traditional pen to draw the designs(kalamkari) and natural dyes to pint the same.
* Wash separately in cold water.
* Do not soak or scrub hard with brush,do not wash with bleach or chlorine.
* Use mild detergents OR can use salt.
* Dry in shade or diffused light. Do not dry in a dryer.
Natural reds, indigos & blacks may tend to rub or bleed. this is an inherent quality of natural dyes. dark colours may bleed onto light colours.
All our printed fabrics are hand dyed and/or hand printed in batches. mild variations may occur. this is not a defect.
handwoven and woven fabrics have an inherent nature of slubs. do not try and remove them.
